This promises to be a show full of colour and interest both in the indoor gallery spaces but also in the garden. It features the work of painter/printmaker Nick Bodimeade and sculptor Paul Amey.

Sussex based Nick Bodimeade will be showing a series of eagerly awaited new paintings, many featuring one of his favourite themes, the beach. His practice is characterised by sharp observation and a delight in the everyday objects and events that fill our lives, he somehow manages to make these thrilling and beautiful through his work. He is a skilled printmaker, the Christmas _09 show saw the popularity of his Dog and Chair etchings, and we can look forward to enjoying some new, small edition prints as well as paintings on canvas.

Paul Amey is an energetic sculptor always keen to explore new subjects and techniques. His work is in different mediums but the work in this show will principally works in ceramic and bronze including the domestically scaled birds to the room-filling bronze, Giraffe with Hunting Dogs. He has undertaken numerous residencies and had shows in the UK and abroad and has consequently built up an international following.

Felicity Aylieff is one of a number of contemporary ceramicists whose work crosses the boundaries of ceramics and sculpture, her work stemming from an ongoing personal enquiry into material and form coupled with a deep-seated curiosity and preparedness to experiment and develop her work in different ways. In recent years she has incorporated residencies in Jingdezhen in China within her practice which has resulted in the some monumental porcelain vessels which have been exhibited in a touring exhibition of the UK and the rather more domestically scaled work that she will show here.
