Over the weekends of 6/7/8 and 13/14/15 November 2009 with different makers each weekend
As a change to the usual format I am holding a two weekend show focusing on Arts and Crafts with an emphasis on affordable work suitable for Christmas presents. There will be 5 print artists and one collage artist showing works both framed and unframed over both weekends, this will include gallery favourites such as Tom Hammick, but will introduce some exciting new names. In addition two carefully selected groups of designer makers will show their work over the 2 weekends. There will be a return of sculptor Mike Savage, who will show new bird sculptures (ideal Christmas presents at £25 each) as well as copper planters and bird baths. There will be textiles, cushions, ceramics, ties and scarves, stationery, furniture, glass and fabulous homewares, all made by very talented independent artists and designers whose work is normally quite hard to find. I have done the hard work for you... come and enjoy buying objects with soul and style! Prices will start from a few pounds for stationery items.
